El silencio del Samurái, a documentary about Dani Pedrosa’s life, produced by Red Bull and Goroka was released last December 19th. Thanks to the testimonies of himself, his family, other pilots, and specialised journalists, we look back at his career and some unknown facets of Pedrosa’s life. As if this wasn’t enough, in the documentary we get to admire his mythical Australian DEUS Café Racer. This bike, baptised as the little samurai’s sword, is a 500cc Honda with two-stroke engine and 70 horsepower. What DEUS built is an exceptional work of mechanical art which took them 500 man-hours to build. Among other things, the ignition system was simplified and a Reynolds Chrome Molly frame was especially built for it.
